Return Policy

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products within 7 days from the delivery day. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by Gloden Home is required, and a forty-five percent (45%) restocking fee will be applied. 

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@lauessence.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refund processing time

You should expect to receive your refund within 28 days of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases, refunds are processed more quickly. This timeline includes the following steps:

• Transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper: 5 to 14 business days
• Processing time once we receive your return: 3 to 5 business days
• Bank processing time to handle the refund request: 5 to 14 business days

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received is damaged or incorrect. In such cases, we will provide a pre-paid return label.

Packaging Condition

To qualify for a refund, the returned item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition as received. Any items not meeting these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.

Change of Mind Returns/Cancellation After Ordering

If your order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel and receive a full refund. Once the order has been shipped, you may still request a return, but you will be responsible for any applicable shipping fees. Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 28 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Wrong Product

If you receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately at contact@lauessence.com with your order details and a photo of the item received. We will promptly arrange for the correct product to be sent to you at no additional cost.

Return Process for Wrong Product:

• Reporting Timeframe: Notify us within 1 days of receiving the incorrect item.
• Return Shipping: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label if the wrong product needs to be returned.
• Replacement Timeline: The replacement will be dispatched once we confirm the incorrect item has been returned or as soon as possible if no return is required.
